All Halo Homes staff must have a minimum of 12 months experience of working directly with young people and hold a Children’s Workforce NVQ Level 3 (or above qualification in a relevant field). Halo Homes are committed to the professional development of all staff and therefore all staff will receive a comprehensive induction involving mandatory training packages. Staff will receive regular reflective supervision sessions designed to aid professional development and increase effective practice. Annual appraisals will be undertaken with all staff to measure long term development and develop career progression.

 

Halo Homes operate a 6 month probationary period for all roles.
